Barn homes or barndominiums are an increasingly popular new build home option. These spacious structures are made of pole or post-frame barns retrofitted into residential homes. Depending on the finishing, a barndo can range from a tiny home to a luxurious living space finished with hardwood and stone. In either case, they afford space, high ceilings, and often, a cost-effective alternative to traditional housing.
