If you want to build a barndominium with a shop, you'll have to consider workflow, how the shop takes up space in your building, and how having an unheated space affects the rest of the home. That should mean paying more attention to your floor plan, getting a professional layout, and ensuring you've thought about how you're actually going to use the space. This collection of barndominium floor plans with a shop should be a great place to start, as it offers everything from small retirement and starter homes to sprawling family homes, with shops laid out to help you maximize the use of the space. *Floor plans are ranked in no particular order. 1. That makes this plan ideal for small and growing families, or as your starter home.
