Barndominium Blog - BarndominiumZONE.com

If you’re planning a new home chances are that a barndominium is high on your list. That’s likely true whether you’re aiming for a metal building kit converted into a barndominium, an Amish barndominium, or even a pole barn with metal siding for a mix of both worlds. Whatever you want, barndominiums are attractive for fast build times, reduced build costs, and ease of interior design. Whatever you want to do with the interior, you can, because your barn home doesn’t need interior load-bearing walls. That aside, barndominiums can be incredibly beautiful and unique homes and that’s true whether you’re using a metal shell or investing in all wood. Of course, you’ll have to find a builder who can work with you to bring that vision to life. Often, you’ll need one crew for the shell erection and another to do the interior and turn your barn into a home. You can also choose to do much of that latter work yourself, but you don’t have to. Whatever you’re looking for, the following includes some of the best barndominium builders in the state of New Hampshire. Country Wide Barns DC Builders Morton Buildings Sunward Steel Worldwide Steel Buildings Hansen Pole Buildings Center Hill Barns Brooks Post & Beam Dream Barns Country Carpenters Lester Buildings Hideaway Restoration LLC The New England Barn Company Rhino Steel Building Systems The Barn Yard American Metal Buildings Boss Buildings Metal Barn Central Hayward & Company 1. It also offers a wide range of customization and extras, including options to help with interior finishing materials. Country Wide primarily designs around floor plans. This means that it doesn’t have any kit homes that are ready to go. However, you can hand the company a floor plan or use one of its floor plans to have a home designed around those needs. In addition, you can allow Country Wide Barns to design something around your general needs and basically get a kit. Country Wide Barns uses pole barn construction – so your contractor can set the building up without a foundation and then pour a concrete floor if you want it. Country Wide Barns does not offer erection or general contracting services in New Hampshire. However, it will ship you the materials you need, including residential doors and windows, so at least materials sourcing is off the table.
